Woodson Terrace Police Department officer Todd Thomas of St Louis, Missouri has sadly passed away. He was 49 years old. He died after suffering a medical emergency on Sunday 20th October 2024 leaving behind family, friends and colleagues who will forever miss him. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Please keep Brandi and her daughter Kaiya in your thoughts and prayers. Todd (Brandi’s husband Kaiya’s father) was taken to soon on Sunday from them.”
According to officials, life-saving measures were performed on Thomas, but unfortunately, they were not successful. His untimely death has left a profound impact on both his family and the local law enforcement community, where he served with dedication and honor.
Sgt. Thomas joined the Woodson Terrace Police Department in May 2015 after spending nine years with the Breckenridge Hills Police Department. His commitment to public service was evident not only in his role as a police officer but also in his previous service as a Corporal in the Marine Corps. His military background instilled in him a strong sense of duty and discipline, traits that he carried into his law enforcement career.
The Woodson Terrace Police Department expressed deep sorrow over Thomas’s passing, emphasizing his contributions to the community and the strong bond he shared with his colleagues. Arrangements for his memorial service will be announced in accordance with his family’s wishes.
