RIP; Julius Magan Death, South African singer and musician has passed away

South African singer and musician Julius Magan has sadly passed away. He died recently surrounded by his beloved family who will forever miss him. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads “Julius Magan, my friend, our Spiritual Mentor and my Producer, went home to be with Jesus.” The actual cause of his death has not been released.

Born into a deeply musical family in South Africa, Julius chose to carve out his own identity in a world rich with melodies, deliberately stepping away from the structured lessons and formal education that surrounded him. After graduating from Port Shepstone High School, Julius briefly dabbled in farming before serving in the South African Defense Force.

It was during this military service, in 1981, that he experienced a life-changing moment at a Reinhardt Bonnke church service, where he made a heartfelt commitment to Christianity. This decision ignited a passion within him that would forever alter the course of his life. The following year, Julius enrolled in Bible School in Durban, where he discovered a profound evangelistic calling while working with street people in the bustling area of Point Road.

In the Drakensberg, Julius joined a team dedicated to establishing a Christian hotel. It was in this serene setting that he met his wife, Theresa, marking a pivotal chapter in his life. The couple’s shared faith and vision for ministry soon became the foundation of their life together. By 1984, the Magans had relocated to Rayton, where Julius ventured into the business world, successfully managing an estate agency with three branches.

Julius dedicates up to ninety percent of his time to church events, retreats, and camps, spreading his message far beyond South Africa’s borders. His ministry has taken him to Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia, alongside annual trips to the United States. Each experience adds to his collection of heart-wrenching testimonies and stories of transformation. He will deeply missed.

Julius Magan’s obituary will be released by the family
