Born with a passion for business and leadership, Pavle pursued a degree at the prestigious Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he studied from 1987 to 1991. Pavle’s career trajectory was defined by his determination and his ability to rise to leadership roles. He joined Bank of America in May 2005, where he served as Senior Vice President for five years, until August 2010. In his time at the bank, Pavle played a crucial role in managing key financial operations and demonstrated his ability to navigate the complexities of the banking industry. His leadership was widely recognized, and he built strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
In August 2010, Pavle transitioned into a general manager role at Cherry Logistics Corporation, where he served until October 2011. Pavle was also a devoted son and brother. He is survived by his mother, Sonja, and his brother, Nikola, both of whom were constants in his life. Pavle’s close-knit family will remember him for his warmth, his generosity, and his unwavering love for those around him.
In honor of Pavle’s life, a visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, located at 7000 S Madison St, Willowbrook, IL 60527. As part of the visitation, a traditional Pomen Service will take place at 7:00 PM, offering friends and family the opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection.
The following day, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, family and friends will gather for a 10:00 AM funeral service at the New Gracanica Serbian Monastery (Српски Манастир Нова Грачаница), located at 35240 W Grant Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046. This sacred space will serve as the backdrop for Pavle’s final farewell, where loved ones will reflect on his life and honor the impact he made on all who knew him. Interment will follow the service, allowing family and friends to say their final goodbyes.
