Southern Illinois University student Lyric Irby of Peoria, Illinois has sadly passed away. She died on Monday 21st October 2024 after being involved in a deadly accident. The news of her death was known through a Facebook post that reads “Lyric!!!! Nooooo!!!! Man!!!! Rest in peace to my niece!!! WHY!!! GOD WHY!!! THIS IS TO MUCH!!!!!! Tiffany N Irby and Kenzo I love y’all so much.”
Lyric Irby was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Born on November 17, 2005, she was a radiant spirit whose passion for life and caring nature made her a source of joy to her family and friends. From a young age, Lyric exhibited a remarkable ability to look out for the good of others.
Whether it was offering a listening ear or lending a helping hand, she had a natural inclination to uplift those around her. Her kindness and empathy were truly remarkable, making her a trusted confidante and a cherished presence in her community. Lyric was also known for her infectious sense of humor. Her laughter could light up a room, and her witty remarks brought smiles to the faces of anyone who crossed her path.
She had a unique talent for finding joy in the little things and shared that joy freely, creating an atmosphere of warmth and happiness wherever she went. Her passion extended beyond her personal relationships. Lyric was deeply involved in various activities that allowed her to advocate for others, demonstrating her commitment to making the world a better place.
