He was announced dead in a social media publication that read “For my brother Justin Arviso. I met my nephew for the first time today and he looks just like you. It broke me to know that you finally after 12 years got to meet him and someone so selfishly took you away from him.”

At at 11:02 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024, police were called to the 2300 block of S. Avenue B in response to a report of a stabbed male subject. The victim, a 37-year-old man, was found by the police. After receiving treatment at Yuma Regional Medical Centre, he subsequently passed away from his wounds and was declared dead. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his late 30s to early 40s with a medium build.
The suspect was last observed walking along 24th Street in a westward direction. The culprit is still at large. Investigations into this case are still ongoing.
