Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the death of Jay Beard, a beloved father, son and fiends who passed away recently. He died leaving those who knew him in shock. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Yesterday was a day I wish no one ever had to go through. My precious daughter, Erika Willis Morton, lost her love, her friend, her partner, Jay Beard. The actual cause of his death has not been disclosed.

His journey began with his education at Jefferson State Community College, where he studied from 1998 to 2000. This foundational experience equipped him with essential skills and knowledge that would prove invaluable in his subsequent roles. After completing his studies, Jay entered the hospitality industry, where he quickly found his footing.

In May 2005, he took on the role of Manager at Buffalo Wild Wings in Trussville. Over the next eleven months, he honed his management skills, focusing on team leadership and customer service in a fast-paced environment. His ability to connect with both staff and patrons set him apart. In March 2009, Jay transitioned to a new challenge as a Manager at Tipsy’s, where he spent nearly four years until December 2013.

During this time, he further refined his operational management capabilities and developed a keen understanding of the local dining scene. In December 2013, Jay returned to Buffalo Wild Wings, this time in a managerial role that lasted until May 2016. His return to the franchise highlighted his strong performance and reputation within the company, as he took on greater responsibilities, ensuring a seamless dining experience for patrons while leading a dedicated team.

In June 2016, Jay took a significant step in his career by becoming the Marketing Manager at Dotedison. This role allowed him to blend his hospitality experience with marketing strategies, focusing on brand development and community engagement. His marketing efforts were aimed at enhancing the company’s visibility and fostering relationships with the local community.

In addition to his marketing role, Jay became involved in organizing community events, serving as a Race Coordinator for both the Mud Duck Run and the Magnolia Festival 5K. These positions allowed him to utilize his organizational skills and passion for community service, bringing people together for fitness and fun. His efforts in these events not only promoted healthy lifestyles but also strengthened community ties.
