On Monday, October 14, a side-by-side collision near Sulphur resulted in the death of an 11-year-old kid. A Polaris RZR carrying two kids overturned, according to Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kayla Vincent. It occurred at approximately 11 a.m. on the 900 block of Armentor Road. The collision caused the 11-year-old passenger to be partially flung off the side-by-side.
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital by deputies, who used life-saving techniques on him before he passed away. According to Vincent, the young driver of the side-by-side escaped unharmed from the collision. Although the inquiry is ongoing, she stated that there is no suspicion of foul play and that the death appears to have been an accident.
