Houlihan Lokey Investment Banking Analyst Brian Tripsa of Houston, Texas has sadly passed away. He died leaving family and friends in shock and disbelief. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Hug your loved ones and never be the first to let go. If you had the pleasure of knowing Brian, you know we lost a beautiful soul.” The cause of his death has not been revealed.

Attending Seven Lakes High School from 2015 to 2019, Brian laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His academic journey continued at Texas A&M University – Mays Business School, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2023. During his time at Texas A&M, Brian actively sought opportunities to develop his skills and contribute to his community.

He served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Life Time Inc. in Katy, Texas, for four months in 2018, where he not only mentored young campers but also honed his leadership and interpersonal skills. In addition to his work with children, Brian was a dedicated referee for the South Texas Youth Soccer Association from January 2015 to December 2019. This five-year role not only nurtured his love for the sport but also instilled in him a sense of responsibility and teamwork.

Brian’s leadership abilities shone through during his time at Texas A&M, where he was a Peer Leader at the Mays Business School from March to December 2020. His commitment to helping fellow students was further exemplified when he took on the role of Consultant at the Mays Communication Lab, where he worked for five months, aiding his peers in developing effective communication skills.

His involvement with the Aggie Investment Club marked a significant chapter in his academic career. Starting as a Securities Analysis Workshop Analyst from May 2020 to April 2021, Brian demonstrated his analytical skills and keen understanding of financial markets. His hard work and dedication earned him a promotion to Newsletter Editor from January 2021 to May 2021, where he was responsible for disseminating valuable insights to fellow club members.

In 2022, Brian took a significant step forward in his career by becoming an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. His performance during this internship led to his promotion to Investment Banking Analyst in July 2023, solidifying his role as a promising talent in the field of finance.
