About Brad Pautsch
Brad Pautsch became Sports Director in 1996 after serving as the weekend sports anchor at KTIV since May 1990. Hailing from a farm near Early, Iowa, he is among the many native Siouxlanders at “Siouxland’s News Channel.”
At KTIV, Brad has received multiple accolades, including “Best Sportscast” from the Iowa Broadcast News Association in 2004, 2012, and 2013, as well as 1st place for “Sports Reporting” in 2007 for his series on the Crestland Cadets football team. He also earned the best sports “Play by Play” award from the IBNA in 2004, 2009, and 2010.
Brad graduated from Crestland High School in Early, Iowa, in 1984. While studying at Iowa State University, he gained his first broadcasting experience as a news and sports reporter at KASI radio.
He and his wife, Sally, an Art Teacher in Sioux City, have a son, Joseph, and a daughter, Mary, who welcomed their baby brother, Reggie, in 2007. In his free time, Brad enjoys playing baseball and basketball.
